Students of the preparatory faculty for the education of foreign citizens from Algeria, Angola, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Zambia, India, Lebanon, Mozambique, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Chad, Ecuador, graduates of the faculty from Lebanon with the Dean, Head of the Department of Russian Language No. 1 I.A. Tropina and staff of the Department O.S. Melikova, E.V. Chernenko and G.G. Shutko visited the Rostov Regional Museum of Local Lore, got acquainted with the exhibits, took part in the concert «Music of our Hearts».
Musical performances by foreigners from Lebanon, Bangladesh and African countries made an indelible impression on the audience. Our students turned the event into a multicultural celebration and gave the city residents the opportunity to see the diversity of the world.
After the concert, the students visited an exhibition organized by the culinary association “Don Chefs”, got acquainted with the gastronomic traditions of the Don region in the 18th century, interacted with the best chefs in Rostov‑on‑Don, and tasted the dishes.
The museum’s management thanks the acting chancellor of Rostov State Medical University, M. A. Shishov, and the vice‑chancellor for the education of foreign citizens and international cooperation, G. Sh. Gafiyatullina, for the active participation of students from the preparatory faculty of Rostov State Medical University in the event.
