Students from Algeria, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Zambia, Lebanon, Mozambique, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, and Chad, under the guidance of the the preparatory faculty ’ s dean, I.A. Tropina, and senior methodologist O.S. Melikova, actively participated in the poetry evening event, which united word lovers representing educational institutions in Rostov‑on‑Don. The event took place at the Southern Federal University.

Taube Karim, Alaaeldin Ali, and Allaw Hassan Ali from Lebanon, who have just begun studying the Russian language, heartily read poems by great Russian poets. The organizers noted that the participation of foreign students significantly enriched the program.

Dean Irina Tropina: “Our students expand their vocabulary from the very first days at the university, learn to formulate their thoughts precisely and expressively, choose linguistic means, and recognize stylistic differences. Participation in the event became a significant action, demonstrating the power of words, breaking down language barriers, and fostering mutual respect for cultural diversity.”
