Big celebration of the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture for international students was held at the Russian Language and Culture Department (Head of the Department, Doctor of Philology, G.D.Sknar).
Russian and foreign students of the 1st year of the Faculty of General Medicine organized an interesting program during which foreign students of 1-3 years of all faculties learned about the history of the holiday, watched bright amateur performances and took part in fun quizzes. At the end of the event, diplomas and gifts were presented to foreign students who showed excellent results in learning the Russian language. A special prize was awarded to the work of presenters Muafo Njojon Jores Borel (Cameroon) and Arina Sarkisova (Russia).
The festive event organized by Anna Vladimirovna Shi will remain in memory for a long time.

We believe that such events help to broaden the horizons of foreign students, create motivation to learn the Russian language and have a positive impact on understanding the history and culture, traditions and customs of Russia.
