A foreign student of RostSMU took the first place in the International Olympiad in Russian as a foreign language “Lobachevsky/RU” organized by the National Research State University of Nizhny Novgorod named after N.I. Lobachevsky. The Olympiad was held in three stages from December 1 to March 27, 2026.
Farhat Nadine from Lebanon, under the guidance of Irina Tropina, Head of the Russian Language Department No. 1, prepared an interesting project and was interviewed by the jury members. In the final, she performed brilliantly in an improvisation competition.
The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad get the right to free master’s degree programs in Russia and the opportunity to study at the International Summer School “Summer in Russian” of the National Research State University of Nizhny Novgorod.
