The Department of General Biology and Anatomy of the Preparatory Faculty on Training Foreign Citizens held the traditional annual conference «Actual Issues of Infectious Diseases.»
Opening of the conference took place on May 18, 2019.
The head of the Department of General Biology and Anatomy, Associate Professor L.V. Abakumova, made a welcome speech, congratulating the speakers and those present with their first experience of the scientific conference at the university in Russian language.
Eleven reports prepared by the Preparatory faculty students, outlining etiology, pathways of infection, treatment and prevention of the most relevant infectious and parasitic diseases in the world, were heard and discussed.
All attendees with genuine interest listened to messages of the fellow students and actively discussed them.
The most interesting were the reports of Pham Thi Thien Thy, Tang Xuan Tai (Vietnam) «Influenza and its prevention», Vasel Guzlan Saleh Ahmed Nasser (Yemen) «Cholera», Moulay Mandy (Zimbabwe) «Rubella», Ogungbemi Evelin Fate((Nigeria) «Mumps», Muzannar Fatima (Lebanon) «Tuberculosis.»
Moono Krifen (Zambia), Sala Gluard Destin (Congo), Zhou Rumbidzai Preis (Zimbabwe) most actively discussed the reports.
All students who made presentations were awarded diplomas.
