Information for international applicants (entrants)

The Rostov State Medical University has been training specialists for foreign countries since 1961. The instruction language at all faculties of our university is Russian, except training in English Medium program. In this regard, most of the foreign students obtain their pre-university training at the Preparatory Faculty on Training Foreign Citizens.

After completing the program of training at the Preparatory Faculty its graduates acquire skills in the following subjects:

The tuition fee for the 2018-2019 academic year under the contract at the Preparatory Faculty on Training Foreign Citizens is 232 600 rubles.
Admission of foreign citizens to the Preparatory Faculty is from September 1, 2018 to October 31, 2018.

The Faculty on Training Foreign Students and Postgraduates is in charge of international students training in the following specialist degree programs:

  • General Medicine – 6 years
  • Pediatrics – 6 years
  • Dentistry — 5 years
  • Pharmacy – 5 years

Admission to the first year of training in 2018 for all specialties of higher education is carried out at the Rostov State Medical University by the results of two entrance examinations, including

  1. Chemistry
  2. Biology

Foreign nationals and stateless persons, except for foreign nationals coming under the quota of the Ministry of Education, have the opportunity to study on a fee basis.
Tuition fee under the contract for the first 2018-2019 academic year at the Faculty on Training Foreign Students and Postgraduates is as follows:

  • General Medicine — 212 800 rubles
    General Medicine (English Medium) — 220 000 rubles
  • Pediatrics — 191 900 rubles
  • Pharmacy — 192 000 rubles
  • Dentistry —  219 900 rubles
