Students of the 4th year of the Faculty on Training Foreign Students and Postgraduates (English Medium) of Rostov State Medical University of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation took part in the district round of the All-Russian competition for international students «StudRussia».

The All-Russian competition officially organized by the National University of Science and Technology MISIS with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science is aimed at supporting talented international students with achievements in science, creativity, sports, social activities and volunteerism.

The district round gathered 280 participants from 49 countries in Stavropol who study at 39 universities of the Southern Federal District and the North-Caucasian District.

The competition was held in two languages — Russian and English, so that foreign students could present their achievements in the language they speak more confidently. This allowed us to maximize the potential of the participants, ensure equal conditions and show the international nature of the project.

Fourth-year students Chauhan Himanshu Ramesh and Sharma Siddharth Bahadur study at RostSMU in English Medium.

Chauhan Himanshu Ramesh took the second place in the nomination «Inspired by creativity» with a presentation on the topic «Formation of cultural identity through dancing» and his video was included in the top three videos of the competition.

Sharma Siddharth Bahadur presented a report «Russian language and Culture. Global compassion. Pioneer in Science» and took the third place in the nomination «Future of Science».

Our students had the opportunity to announce their achievements at the national level and their reports aroused genuine interest among the participants and received positive feedback from the organizing committee.
