The reports were presented by students from 18 countries around the world. The foreigners got acquainted with the works of Russian writers and poets who reflected the most important events of the Great Patriotic War. They discussed the themes of patriotism and self-sacrifice, the tragedy and burden of the war, historical memory and respect for heroes.
Graduates of the Preparatory Faculty of RostSMU currently studying at universities in Moscow, St.Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Ryazan also attended the conference.
1st prize was taken by 2nd-year student of Ryazan State Medical University Al Ghul Hussein from Lebanon and a student of the Preparatory Faculty of Rostov State Medical University Kichibayeva Aisoltan from Turkmenistan (tutor — Head of the Department of Russian language No. 1 I.A. Tropina).
2nd place — students of the Preparatory Faculty of RostSMU Dovranova Aigul from Turkmenistan and Fadel Sally from Lebanon (tutor- the head of the department I.A. Tropina and teacher T.N. Prokudailo).
3rd place was awarded to Allambadnan Mbailede Rodrigue from Chad (tutor — senior lecturer of the department E.V. Chernenko).
