The student conference dedicated to the World Cosmonautics Day was held on April 8, 2017 at the Department of Physics and Mathematics of the Preparatory Faculty on Training Foreign Citizens.
Participants of the conference listened with great interest to the reports, which were made by students of the Preparatory Faculty Oydovsuren Badamgarav (Mongolia), Bramo Te Branga Judicael-Adelph Lori (CAR), Mostafa Lara (Lebanon), Omar Azad (Israel), Yassin Nuraldin Mohammad Ismail (Jordan), Abugiyatha Mahmud A.M. (Palestine), Al Suraimi Hesham Abdulmalek Mohsen (Yemen), Odoh Obyanuzhu Cynthia (Nigeria), Tchicaya Mbingua Genelia Philomena (Congo) on the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, on space observatories, astrobiology, overloads and zero gravity, space (orbital) velocity, automatic spacecrafts.
Within the framework of the conference the professor of the department T.V.Oleshko has held a quiz on space subject, and the department senior lecturer T.K. Shcherbakova has told the Preparatory Faculty students about the first woman-cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova.
