Last Saturday, the students of the Preparatory Faculty on Training of Foreign Citizens visited the opening ceremony of Christmas Fair in the park of October Revolution. They took pictures with the 11-metres high beautiful Christmas tree, watched the concert of the cover band ‘Valenky’, and then they went on a visit to Santa Claus (Grandfather Frost) and Snow Maiden (Snegurochka). The fluffy snow which has dropped out this day became the real decoration of a bright holiday and has added New Year’s mood to guests of the Christmas Fair. For residents of Rostov it was the first snow this winter, and for the students from Congo, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Thailand it was the first snow in their life. The guys enjoyed snowballs and staged a now popular «Mannequin Challenge» (“Frozen figures») flash mob.
And then they have shared their impressions about a festival with the reporter of Don-TR TV broadcaster which has interviewed them.
