On May 6, 2016 RSMU was visited by the youth delegation from the twin-city of Dortmund (the Federal Republic of Germany) which is in Rostov-on-Don by the invitation of the City administration. The German delegation was represented by activists of youth associations accompanied by specialists of Dortmund Bureau of Youth Affairs.

Foreign guests have visited the museum of RSMU history. The head of the museum T. V. Krayevskaya has conducted tour and has told about 85-year history of university. Guests with a great interest have examined an exposition of the museum and have taken memorable pictures.

The Delegation of the German Youth has been invited to a solemn meeting of the Rostov State Medical University devoted to the 71th anniversary of the Great Victory. Veterans, RSMU faculty and students have gathered at the obelisk «Fire graduation». Participants of the solemn event have come to honor memory of heroes of the Great Patriotic War and to lay flowers at the memorial to the physicians who have died on fronts.

The delegation from Dortmund could see tradition of the Russian people to revere memory of the heroes who have given their lives for the independence and freedom of our Homeland; deep respect of the Russian youth for the veterans and self-sacrificing home front workers who have defended peaceful happy life for future generations.
