March 27, 2015 year the Rostov State Medical University was visited by the delegation of Anhui Medical University of the People’s Republic of China which was in Rostov-on-Don as a part of official delegation of the Province of Anhui arrived by the invitation of the Rostov region Administration.

The delegation of Anhui Medical University was represented by the Vice-Rector of the University Mr. Yu Baotao, the vice-chairman of Communist Party Committee at University Mr. Liu Qunying, the chief of office of external relations Mr. Wu Qiang, the deputy chief of office of external relations Mr. Qi Jun, the teacher of Anhui Medical University Mrs. Wu Qigong.

The Chinese delegation accompanied by the representative of the Ministry of economic development of the Rostov region was met by the Rector of RSMU Professor S. V. Shlyk and the Vice Rector for training of foreign citizens and the international cooperation of RSMU professor G. Sh. Gafiyatullina.

During a meeting the parties discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation between universities; the Chinese colleagues presented multimedia presentation of Anhui Medical University; and G.Sh. Gafiyatullina conducted to the Chinese colleagues virtual tour on RSMU.

In conclusion of an official meeting the parties signed an agreement on international cooperation between the Rostov State Medical University and the Medical University of Anhui Province.

Cooperation with the Chinese party will allow RSMU to get new experience in preparation of scientific and medical personnel for practical health care and expand opportunities for development of scientific projects in the field of medical researches.
