Обучающиеся, прибывающие на подготовительный факультет по обучению иностранных граждан Ростовского государственного медицинского университета Минздрава России, проходят вместе с наставниками не только программы подготовки, но и участвуют в мероприятиях, которые знакомят их с историей, культурой и традициями Ростовской области и нашей страны.
Рассказываем сегодня об одном из таких мероприятий в нашей рубрике «Международный диалог / International dialogue (English-medium)».
В рамках празднования Дня города Ростова-на-Дону-2026 студенты факультета по обучению иностранных граждан РостГМУ в сопровождении старшего преподавателя кафедры русского языка №1 Елены Владимировны Черненко приняли участие в экскурсионной программе «Донская симфония».
Экскурсия прошла по центру столицы Ростовской области, где иностранцы увидели старинные дома и современные здания, познакомились с фактами из богатой истории Ростова-на-Дону и казачьего региона в целом.
Впечатлила ребят и прогулка по городской набережной реки Дон.
— С первых дней пребывания в России наши обучающиеся знакомятся с историей и культурой Донского края, важнейшими историческими событиями. Подобные мероприятия способствуют социокультурной адаптации иностранцев, — говорит декан факультета Ирина Анатольевна Тропина.
Для обучающихся подготовительного факультета экскурсия стала не только увлекательным, но и познавательным путешествием в мир истории и современности, позволив лучше понять место Ростова в культурном пространстве России.

Foreign students of the preparatory faculty of Rostov State Medical University get acquainted with Rostov‑on‑Don
Students arriving at the Preparatory Faculty on Training Foreign Citizens of Rostov State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia not only complete their training programmes together with their mentors, but also take part in events that introduce them to the history, culture and traditions of the Rostov Region and our country.
Today, in our column «International Dialogue / Международный диалог (English-medium)», we are telling you about one of these events.
As part of the celebration of Rostov-on-Don City Day 2026, students of the Preparatory Faculty on Training Foreign Citizens of Rostov State Medical University, accompanied by Elena Vladimirovna Chernenko, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Russian Language № 1, took part in the excursion programme «The Don Symphony».
The excursion took place in the centre of the capital of the Rostov Region, where international students saw old houses and modern buildings and learned fascinating facts from the rich history of Rostov-on-Don and the Cossack region as a whole.
The students were also impressed by a walk along the city embankment of the Don River.
«Our students become acquainted with the history and culture of the Don region and its most important historical events from their very first days in Russia. Events like this contribute to the sociocultural adaptation of international students,» says Irina Anatolyevna Tropina, Dean of the Faculty.
For the students of the Preparatory Faculty, the excursion became not only a fascinating but also an educational journey into the world of history and modernity, helping them better understand the place of Rostov in the cultural space of Russia.
