On June 2, the Department of General Biology and Anatomy (Head of the Department, Associate Professor L.V. Abakumova) hosted the annual educational and scientific conference “Healthcare in the countries of the world” which was attended by 58 students of the faculty. The audience was presented with 6 reports on the state of healthcare and medicine in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Central and South-East Asia.
The students listened with great interest to the reports on the organization of healthcare, the successes and achievements of medicine, and the problems in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea (speaker — Bibang Imale Genoveva Fuma), the Federal Republic of Nigeria (Mikail Balkis, Bonuola Umarfarouk), the Lebanese Republic (Sabra Abed Al Aziz, Hmeda Haidar), the Republic of Ecuador (Maldonado Almeida Natalie Paulette, Usinya Hernandez Dylan Mateo) (heads of Associate Professor N.I. Uskova, Associate Professor L.V. Abakumova), People’s Republic of Bangladesh (Gupta Subroto Shan, Sheikh MD. Nahid), Turkmenistan (Annagurbanova Gulalek) (tutor – Associate Professor Khrenkova V.V.). It was so interesting that the audience asked a lot of questions to the speakers.
The speakers were awarded with diplomas. The teachers of the department wish all participants further success in their studies and research activities.
