The best students of the university, including foreign ones represented RostSMU at the World Youth Festival in Sochi.
Deolinda Andre Tiago from Mozambique, Moncheiro Mascarinhas Celistino Junior from Cape Verde, Amarna Mahmoud S.M. from Palestine participated in all the forum events for a week — fascinating master classes, discussions, panel sessions, communicated with famous politicians and stars from the world of music, art, cinema, sports, and met colleagues from different cities of Russia and the world.

«This is the first time I’ve been to such huge event. And every day I was surprised by the atmosphere of friendliness and hospitality, how clearly the Forum program was drawn up, and how well the leisure time was organized. The speaker was the Minister of Health of Russia Mikhail Albertovich Murashko. But the best moment I was really looking forward was a meeting with President Putin. We saw him at the closing ceremony. There was also time to see the city, go to the sea, and admire the mountains from afar. At the forum I made many new friends and met fellow countrymen. The guy with whom we studied English together back in 2016 recognized me. I also met a guy and a girl I knew from Mozambique. I made a lot of new friends. We are all so different, but we all have common interests».

The World Youth Festival program was aimed at supporting talented youth, as well as educating professional leaders of Russia and the world.
