The Department of Russian Language No. 1 hosted the conferences «Getting acquainted with the Russian culture» and «Their fate was not only the medicine». Students of the preparatory faculty made interesting reports about the cultural centers of Russia, about the great works of Russian culture, about famous writers-doctors.
The deep study of cultural heritage, the expansion of the exchange of authentic cultural values between peoples, the ability to go beyond the usual ideas helps foreign students to understand the culture of modern Russia, which contribution to world culture is obvious: achievements in science and art, the work of brilliant poets, writers, artists, composers.
The problems of culture are of paramount importance today also because it acts as a powerful factor of social development.
