2020 was declared the Year of Folk Art in Russia. At the Department of Russian Language No. 1, a conference «Russian Folk Art» was held in remote mode.
The genres of folk art are diverse, and so is the folk culture itself. International students of the Preparatory faculty made interesting reports, got acquainted with centuries of original folk traditions, tales, epics, proverbs and sayings, melodies, theatrical productions, dances, decorative items reflecting the cultural values of our people.
The creative element of the Russian folk soul had a beneficial effect on the development of world culture. Foreigners appreciate the beauty of the Russian artistic word and universal ideas warmed by a rare expression of sincere humanity. Foreigners also like the fact that the Russian people offer ideas of global significance not in dogmatic instructions, but in the living form of their bright artistic perfection.
Representatives of foreign countries admire our culture, marveling at its grandeur and beauty.
