The New Year’s Festival «Kaleidoscope of Cultures» is held traditionally by Russian Language Department No. 3. This year foreign students from Nepal, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Angola, Congo, Swaziland, Namibia, Bangladesh, India, Colombia and Ecuador took part in it. Russia was represented by students of pediatric faculty Dasha Kontorovich and Ilya Balakhonov. National songs, dances, colorful costumes made a great impression on the audience. New Year is celebrated everywhere in different ways, but one tradition remains common to all peoples — to celebrate the event with friends and family. And just like at home, warm and cozy, students felt at this Festival: they joked, had fun, and wished each other success in the New Year.
