Foreign students of the Rostov State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia have the right to apply for a temporary residence permit in the Russian Federation for the purpose of obtaining education (TRPЕ).
The permit is issued to citizens who are studying full‑time at Russian state universities or academic organizations, for the entire duration of their studies and additional 180 days after graduation.
One of the main advantages of a TRPЕ over a regular student visa is that you don’t need to apply for a notification every year that you live in Russia.
In order to submit an application, you need to gather a package of documents: an application form, photos, a passport with a translation, migration documents, a certificate from the university, and a number of other documents.
The application for the TRPЕ is considered up to 38 working days in the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Rostov region, located at 21 Peschanaya str., Rostov-on-Don, Rostov Region.
