The International essay contest for foreign students on a subject «Russia and the East: tolerance of cultures and traditions» has taken place in the Siberian State Transport University.

11 universities of Russia, China and Mongolia have participated in a competition. Our university was adequately presented by ten students of first, second and third years of General Medicine Faculty: Offor Chinazor, Isimhonya Katherine, Ikeliani Ikenna, Akhiaka Katharine, John Kavanga, Al Dva Baraa, Annick Mahmoud, Koshkosh Inna, Hristianov Vironas Pavlos, Yugay Dmitry. The winners of a competition have been approved on the basis of the decision of a commission of experts.
Students were prepared at the Department of Russian language and culture of the Russian speech (the head of the Department – the Doctor of Philology associate professor Sknar G. D.).

The Rostov State Medical University has won first place in team competition.
The third year student Offor Chinazor Cordelia (Nigeria) has taken the second place for the best essay «What it is the Russian Nature?».
The student of a third year of University Ikeliani Ikenna (Nigeria) has won the nomination «The Most Original Style of a Narration».
